Essential Knowledge: 4.10.A.2

Two matrices can be multiplied if the number of columns in the first matrix equals the number of rows in the second matrix. The product of the matrices is a new matrix in which the component in the iith row and jjth column is the dot product of the iith row of the first matrix and the jjth column of the second matrix.
